o Work with engineering & sales leaders, conduct regularly scheduled, customer-focused portfolio reviews of all unitary water-based lineups, enabling effective decisions related to product lifecycle management (including product rationalization) o Prepare "business pulse" and financial reports for unitary water-based line-ups on a regular basis to keep business leaders informed of progress on volume, profitability and quality targets o Conduct regular industry, market and competitor analyses, including detailed segmentations of end consumers o Generate, develop, and launch new offering to market o Lead China unitary Product Growth Team (PGT) for sales revenue & margin growth

o Build and lead cross functional team to achieve desired business results within budget, at desired product cost level, to specified quality & functionality requirements, and within the committed program schedule o Assess programs cross-functional resource requirements and proactively engage sponsors and functional leaders on project plan and gain support on required resources timely to ensure project success o Assist in managing unitary product roadmap and facilitate monthly program review o Coach & enable new program managers and product managers

Major Achievements: o Built RS engineering capabilities in China, with more than 50 leaders/engineers from refrigeration system, mechanical, controls, FEA, CFD, sound & vibration, supplier quality and component engineering o Successfully led design team to completed first residential packaged product R410A conversion project for North America o Reviewed & approved 43 GB projects/18 GBs & 12 BB projects, 5 BBs with over US$ 7 m financial Impact Responsibilities o Provide leadership and coordination of Residential Solutions (RS) projects including resource planning, budgeting, engineering process improvement and cross-functional execution o To partner with Tyler based functional leaders and build a virtual team where IRETC-AP RS resources work seamlessly with RS U.S. engineers to delivering products and services to the RS sector o Lead RS supplier quality engineers & component engineers to support RS AP sourcing o IRETC-AP Operational Excellence ownership, drive continuous improvements

Major Achievements: o Built Global Factory Support Group with unitary, chiller & EMAIR support team (existing 3 teams), initiated residential system support, global functional change control team and manufacturing engineering team. Besides support major NPDs implementation, realized $1.25m saving in 2008 o Established global unitary factory support team, recruited & developed total 9 team members, realized more than $ 1M saving in first 12 months o Delivered Precedent 3-10 ton R410A conversion project (North America Rooftop) Responsibilities o Overall project management and team performance for Trane Commercial Systems (TCS) EMAIR support team, Unitary factory support team, Chiller support, Global function Change control team and Trane Residential System RTS support team o Initiate unitary factory support team, to support Lynn Haven, Springhill, Waco & Clarksville for RTS and cost reduction o Assist ASDC design & drafting manager in mentoring & coaching designers for TCS unitary NPI projects
