Successfully delivered the strategic migration of heterogenous legacy backend infrastructure from on-premises and colocation data centers to a scalable, distributed multi-cloud Kubernetes platform and cloud-native implementations in AWS and Oracle Cloud. Re-architected the legacy platform and shared backend, and completed product load migration in close collaboration with multiple Developer-, DevOps- and FinOps teams and architects across the globe. Served as Security Champion, hardening internal and external APIs against OWASP Top 10 and API-specific vectors like DDoS, enumeration, and harvesting. Aligned and standardized APIs across products and backends to improve AI-readiness and integration experiences. Championed API lifecycle management, migration strategies, and API-first development. Evangelized serverless technologies, cloud-native and event-driven architectures. Enabled advanced analytics and observability through Splunk, AppDynamics, Presto, ELK, MixPanel, Sentry, and user-migration/feature-rollout platforms such as LaunchDarkly and Unleash. Promoted the YBIYRI (You Build It, You Run It) operating model, Infrastructure-as-Code and GitOps practices. Managed on-call rotations, disaster recovery, and incident management.

Designed and implemented cloud-native architectures across AWS and hybrid cloud environments, with focus on scalability, security, and seamless cloud migration. Developed distributed scalable backend systems using Java and JS/TS, integrating microservices via Kubernetes and Docker and serverless components using API Gateway, CDN and off-the-shelf and self-built event-driven architectures with various consistency levels. Developed frontend and client software components using JS/TS, C++, and Objective-C. Developed stress testing framework with automatic tracking of resilience and recovery objectives for load, soak, disaster and simulated network degradation scenarios using Gatling and JMeter. Enabled real-time observability through CloudWatch, Splunk, ELK, appDynamics, and Presto.

Led and executed cloud migration and hybrid cloud initiatives with focus on service fleet management, security, and resilience. As a part-time Agile Couch and Scrum Master established best practices of agile software development with CI/CD and DevOps. Developed scalable high-throughput low-latency eventually consistent distributed backend systems using Java, JS/TS, C++, and Erlang, integrating AMQP/RabbitMQ framework and Ejabber. Developed and maintained distributed high-resolution test framework for the distributed high-performance event-driven eventually consistent platform using distributed JMeter and Gatling fleet.

Conducted scientific research in computational linguistics and natural language processing with focus on large language models and terminology mining. Created new design of preprocessing stages, improved training data set and ingestion data quality. Fine tuned ML alghoritms. Scientific results implemented into production software in Java, scripting languages and Machine Learning toolchains.

Redesigned integration of signal and voice trunks reduced expenses on the satellite channels by 82%.
