I worked in the Canadian banking division within the small business department as a part of an agile team. Our team's objective was to optimize the functionality of a Scotiabank-owned platform. In my role as a junior product owner, I successfully accomplished the following: 1. Authored approximately 40 user stories across multiple projects using Jira, contributing to the alignment of the platform with Canadian compliance standards, helping Scotiabank avoid penalties exceeding $1,000,000. 2. Ensured the quality of around 50 user stories through collaboration with the development team, guaranteeing error-free releases and delivering high-quality products to stakeholders. 3. Regularly updated and enhanced existing Gantt charts using conditional formatting, AND, WEEKDAY, SUM, IF, COUNTIF, MAX, and MIN function on Excel for six projects on a weekly basis, aiding the senior product owner in communicating progress to upper management on specific projects. 4. Revamped and presented slide decks using PowerPoint to engage and inform over 50 internal stakeholders during the weekly sprint review, effectively communicating the substantial progress made after every sprint.

OnePlan is a software company that offers a Project Portfolio Management system to businesses worldwide. OnePlan has been recognized as Microsoft's four-time Partner of the Year Winner in the Project & Portfolio category. During my tenure as a Finance & Operations Intern, I undertook the following responsibilities: 1. Audited OnePlan's company equipment by liaising with 40+ employees and updating company records using BambooHR, resulting in invaluable data for the finance and accounting team to generate accurate financial statements. 2. Conducted extensive pay grade research utilising Glassdoor to analyse over 100 salaries and job descriptions for ten different positions for the Texas, California, and Ontario regions, providing crucial data for the HR team with salary benchmarking. 3. Engaged with local land preservation charities in San Diego to assess financial eligibility for donations. Enabling OnePlan to contribute to a credible organisation and give back to the community.

In my role as a Podcast Content Researcher for 'The Realist Futurist,' I collaborated with a colleague to: 1. Performed extensive research on topics such as genome editing, artificial intelligence, and autonomous vehicles resulting in three captivating and error-proof podcast episodes. 2. Crafted comprehensive 7-9 page scripts/drafts for three podcast episodes, each with a duration of 35-45 minutes, significantly increasing the podcast’s listeners base.

FAS-T Education Consulting has successfully assisted over 100 students from countries such as Tanzania, Kenya, and India in pursuing their education and employment opportunities in Canada. In my role as a Search Engine Optimization Specialist, I undertook the following tasks: 1. Leveraged SEO tools within Wix, Google Search Console, and Google Ads to create and implement a strategic keyword research plan and distribution spreadsheet, leading to an impressive 15-position improvement in the company’s website ranking for some queries.
