Preserved the peace at public gatherings (Boston Marathon), neighborhood disputes and civil protests. Served and delivered warrants, court orders, summonses, subpoenas, and other official papers promptly and accurately. Conferred with court prosecutors and testified in court. Assigned to Self Directed Unmarked Anti-Crime patrol in order to take preventative measures and deter crime. Conducted preliminary investigations of offenses and incidents within the area of assignment and scope of activity. Collected evidence and recorded data which aided in identification, apprehension, and prosecution of offenders, as well as the recovery of property.
