As the subject matter expert in the university's financial systems, focusing on Workday Finance and its integrations with external systems. Maintain business relationships, conduct meetings with project stakeholders, and understand Workday's functionalities and data structure. Work with the leadership team to lead change management, communication, and training elements to promote and roll out new functionality. Primary duties include driving and influencing the delivery of solutions across the Workday ecosystem, providing direct leadership, coaching, and supervision of the Finance Technology Solutions team, collaborating with Finance business leads and the Finance Technology and Strategic Transformation team to understand functional requirements, and supporting the overall financial technology architecture. Advocate for the implementation of new technology on behalf of employees and Finance stakeholders, support the creation of technology roadmaps, and review stakeholder input. The role involves creating and developing architectural advances, transforming business requirements into technical requirements, and delivering new functionality within the Finance tech stack. Coordinate with the Director of Finance Technology to establish effective project plans, manage resources, perform quality assurance, leverage business knowledge, and develop technical knowledge. Attention, punctuality, and reliability are essential functions of this role.

Manage the Workday systems administration team, including the Financial systems administrator(s) Perform Workday systems administrative functions, including security maintenance (Domain Security Policy, Security Groups, User-Based, Role-Based), business process configuration (creation of condition rules, custom validations, business process policy changes), tenant configuration, data loads (EIB creation, template model), as well as support for integrations and upgrades Help drive Workday financial systems projects to a conclusion by being the subject matter expert for financial systems capabilities and configuration. HRIS Analyst, responsible for providing tier 2 support for all HR Systems with a primary focus on reporting and data maintenance for our employee engagement and life-cycle survey tool (Qualtrics). Responsibilities: • Partner with other team members to manage the delivery of projects including configuration changes, integrations, and functionality deployment (including configuration, testing, documentation, peer review, sign off, training, change management) • Partner with the shared services team to troubleshoot and solve systems’ tier 2 usability issues using ServiceNow • Provide ad hoc reporting and analytics for the organization • Support employee engagement and life-cycle survey process • Maintains User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test scripts, participates in and documents UAT results • Creates and revises job aids and other training materials to reflect system functionality changes and/or enhancements • Participates as a project team member for HR Systems’ initiatives that require assessment, development, implementation or upgrades • Maintain data integrity in systems through creation of appropriate configuration controls, standards and processes, as well as regular audits of data • Regularly analyze work process design and flow to drive improvement in system functionality and user experience; create forms and workflows as necessary

Manifest time and productivity returns for HR Shared Services colleagues through providing bulk system interface upload services from creation, validation and testing of upload interfaces through coordination of successful deployment with vendor. Drive data quality by proactively creating and analyzing numerous files integral to sustaining multiple system platforms. Architect new process design and program technical solutions that increase data quality and facilitate automation of manual processes. Ownership and accountability for the design & execution of custom reports at function’s request. Function as Subject Matter Expert (SME) regarding all aspects of personnel master data maintenance and payroll processing. Work closely with payroll specialists, employees, managers, HR and vendors in the successful resolution of all issues. Assist the payroll manager in training and developing of the organization staff on the functionality of our systems, business processes and federal and state regulations relating to payroll, labor and employment tax laws. Perform and meet requirements of internal audits and checkpoint processes related to payroll. This includes collaborating on system performance and configuration issues; providing feedback and data for operations review meetings to ensure that issues are addressed in a timely manner; as well as, acting as a liaison between the businesses and vendors for existing or new business requirements. Responsible for testing and evaluating new system configuration and identifying software and service issues. Lead Administration and Payroll related activities on a variety of cross disciplinary teams. Identify best practices within processes and procedures utilizing lean principles. Identify systemic issues, perform root-cause analysis and create solutions.

Work with Infosys to ensure that the bookings / accounting are accurately and timely maintained by taking into account good business controls and best practices • Monitors and ensures all balances are correctly held and that adequate reconciliations are available with appropriate documentation, whether prepared within the AccOps or Infosys (BSAR). • Complete Internal Controls work in accordance with the Internal Control Standard (ICS) tool on a timely and accurate basis and supervise ICS tasks carried out by other members of AccOps team. • Verify the compliance with valuation rules ( PAP, IFRS, local regulations) • Ensure adequate control of the Companies fixed assets and Payroll accounting activities by maintaining proper control, allocation, recording and physical verification processes. • Support the local ORUs and Infosys in providing accurate and timely data for the Group consolidation (MEC reporting) • Driving together with the business process improvements / changes, e.g. process changes or acquisitions • Provide accurate and timely data for local consolidations, fiscal reporting and other internal and external requirements. • Support local audits

• Process Payroll of 4500 plus employees on a weekly and bi-weekly period. • Maintain Data quality for over twenty company codes/ORU in both Workday and Global View. • Validate ICS audits on a weekly basis. • Analysis of payroll data reports and custom reporting. • Apply Lean WOW (Ways of Working) on everyday tasks and responsibilities. • Accomplished many Kaizens for our payroll team and for other organizations. • Key role in the implementation of Workday. • Work in teams to create process improvements as well in collaboration with other departments. • Received recognition for supporting the rollout of Workday in 2014.

• Month end close duties including journal entries, cash accounts reconciliations, G/L analysis and intercompany transactions. • Accounts Payable, verifying expenses with management, coding and processing weekly checks and accrue for missing transactions and 1099 processing. • Accounts Receivable – examine A/R aging reports and contacting clients with past due invoices, create debit/credit memos. • Monthly depreciation, accruals and yearly budget. Assist with financial statements preparation. • Manage all financial transactions and accounting responsibilities for four real estate entities, monthly and yearly P & L analysis and prepare yearly budget.
