Perform regular and random spot samplings on gas, condensates, water and lube oil and amine for quality testing, maintaining their integrity and identities. Amine concentration or strength, H2S and CO2 loading, heat stable salts and foaming tendency determination on lean or rich amine samples where necessary. Established & maintained a calibration program & records for laboratory equipments, coordinate third party contractors on external calibrations and service deliveries. Gas compositional analysis of process gas, liquefied petroleum gas, natural gas, pure/commercial and Normal propane (based on customer’s specification), butane, natural gas liquids, instrument air, compressed natural gas, propane refrigerant, inert gases etc, using agilent 8890 FID/TCD and SK-3Q04 FID gas chromatograph. Ethyl mercaptan (Doctor's test), Volatility, RVP, Copper corrosion, water vapour/Moisture content, total sulphur and water/hydrocarbon dew point determination, by strict adherence to the ASTM methods. TDS, pH, TSS, TOC, electrical conductivity, chloride, sulphate, iron, oil and greese, hardness, silica, Total and E. Coliform on demineralized water for amine make-up, RO and distilled water for electrolytes dilution, and Nitrites for Gas generators and Residual gas compressors auxiliary and jackets coolants water. Evaluate and record results using the LIMS, ensures it meets up SON's specifications, co- authorize product loading/sales and advice management of any potential shortfalls. Other laboratory technical and administrative duties as instructed by management. Follow procurement procedures for required laboratory equipments & consumables.

Adhere strictly to procedures, company policies, and personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines while performing duties safely. Collaborate closely with the site operations team to troubleshoot process issues and improve efficiency. Sampling of Crude oil from EXPORT LINE, WELLHEAD and MANIFOLD. Sediments and water separation in crude oil using Centrifuge machine. Sand content of crude. Water content of Crude and Diesel by distillation. API, Density, Temperature and Specific gravity measurement of Crude Oil and Products.  pH, Conductivity, Salinity, Temperature, Dissolved Oxygen (DO), Total dissolved solid (TDS), Total suspended solid(TSS) of Produced Water. Bottle test analysis to assess the rate of emulsion separation by visual observation of the separated volume of water with respect to time. Chemical injection, adjustment of injection rate and daily consumption of the chemical. PD Meter readings, temperature and pressure check. Skimming of oil from the produced water tank. Bulking of chemicals using hose and the aid of a diaphragm pump. Repair of chemical injection pumps and calibration of injection rates. Production flow assurance, ensuring that produced oil meets specifications.
