For the accounting related subjects I participate in the MRI project (Miles reference implementation) as a Subject Matter Expert. This successor of our current leasing system from our longtime supplier Sofico, is targeted to go live before the end of 2016. Together with our Belgian colleagues and in close collaboration with Sofico, we strive to get all requirements listed and build into the new system, to be ready for the future, and serve our customers on the level of what they expect from BMW.

As team member of the COFIS Benelux project I am the representative of the Accounting department of the Netherlands. COFIS is a new core system for BMW Financial Services in the Netherlands and Belgium/Luxemburg, and will replace our current system Leasebase accordingly. The project consists of different phases such as Business Process Redesign phase (BPR), Requirement Analysis phase (RA), Test phase etc. COFIS is divided in three separate modules and implementation is done sequentially, starting with Common Solution, CFS (Commercial Finance system) and DFE (dealer front-end), and NLS (New lending suite).
