I am responsible for carrying out the design and analysis of piling, shoring, and ground improvement systems for construction projects across the UAE. My role involves preparing comprehensive geotechnical design reports and detailed shop drawings, ensuring that all designs meet project specifications and local regulations. I review soil investigation data, interpret subsurface conditions, and provide informed recommendations for foundation systems. Additionally, I coordinate closely with senior engineers during the design of foundations and retaining walls, contributing to technically sound and cost-effective solutions. I also prepare cost estimates and technical submissions to support project planning, budgeting, and approval processes.

Conducted laboratory testing of soil samples for geotechnical characterization, including index properties, compaction, and strength parameters. Assisted in the geotechnical analysis and design of an embankment using GeoStudio (GeoSlope) software, focusing on slope stability evaluation. Gained hands-on experience in interpreting lab results and correlating them with field behavior of soil for infrastructure development. Observed and learned from ongoing research and consultancy projects related to pavement design and subgrade improvement. Worked alongside experienced engineers and researchers, enhancing practical understanding of soil behavior and highway geotechnics.

Joined the firm as a rebar detailer after my graduation in Civil Engineering.Later on there I led a team of rebar detailers in preparing shop drawings for various outsourced GCC projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications and construction requirements as per BS standards. Coordinated with structural engineers and clients to clarify design aspects, resolve technical queries, and streamline project execution. Managed workflows to ensure timely submission of deliverables while maintaining precision and efficiency. Regularly raised and addressed RFIs to resolve ambiguities, improving communication and construction feasibility. Through this experience, developed strong skills in team leadership, project management, stakeholder coordination, and technical problem-solving.

Active member of the Indian Geotechnical Society (IGS) student chapter – participated in technical seminars, webinars, and expert lectures focused on geotechnical innovations and disaster mitigation techniques. Contributed to academic discussions and student-led initiatives promoting awareness on landslides and ground improvement techniques. Involved in research-focused group activities, especially related to soil liquefaction and slope stability, enhancing collaborative learning and technical depth. Collaborated with peers and faculty in organizing knowledge-sharing sessions and department-level academic events. Actively engaged in laboratory work and geotechnical software training as part of academic enrichment outside the curriculum.
