Responsible for coordinating and executing hardware factory acceptance tests on Honeywell’s Safety Manager (SM) systems used in on-shore facilities and off-shore platforms; including hardware placement, voltage and ground checks, trouble shooting and wiring connections, IO loop tests and system cabinet alarms. • Utilizing knowledge of logic flow and application development on SM systems was able to perform software factory acceptance tests and support pre-commission activities. This included function checks from Safety Builder to HMI graphics using customer provided Cause and Effects logic, checking damper / valve controls and feedback, bypasses, and reset conditions. • Operated HMI faceplates and cross-checked parameters between Experion Station and Safety Builder. • Built solid relationships with customers, suppliers, designers and others to assist in resolving design, development, production, and acceptance issues. KEY PROJECTS INCLUDE: • BP - Argos Platform, South Korea Shipyard: Provided PSS and ESS pre-commissioning support and responsible for maintaining Safety Manager backups. Supported project EPC Samsung Heavy Industries in check out of the ESD, HVAC OTP systems as well as black start testing. Supported BP project team in testing General alarms and PA/GA system. • Phillips66, Sweeny TX: As lead safety engineer for Sweeny team, worked closely with the customer identifying best choice solutions for safety projects. Created documentation required and performed software/hardware testing and loop checks on Safety Manager, Relay, and Remote IO cabinets. • Total ECU, Port Arthur TX: Provided SAT support, including powering on and diagnostic checks of SIS and FGS cabinets. Implemented Safety Manager application downloads after new hardware installation.

• Utilized function block diagrams to program safety processes and HMI screens, using Triconex's TriStation software. • Developed and tagged various HMI screens, using WonderWare.
