About
As Global Director of Strategy and Marketing at PIC (Pig Improvement Company), Genus' porcine division (LON: GNS), I am responsible to lead strategic initiatives, business improvement efforts, and marketing in the field of animal breeding and genetics. The goal is to improve value creation for pork producers across the globe and strengthen PIC's competitive advantages. As part of my role I represent Genus at the Center for Food Integrity, a not-for-profit organization that has as mission to build consumer trust in the food system. As management consultant at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) I have developed a passion for agribusinesses and gained a broad set of functional skills around strategy development, operations improvement, go-to-market, and organizational design. Throughout my engagements I have delivered bottom line impact through M&A, transformations, and cost reduction efforts. Prior to BCG I have gained industry experience in engineering roles at Shell and the Dutch Navy.
