Erin was a spokeswoman for the Office of Thrift Supervision under the U.S. Treasury Department, the primary regulator of the $7 trillion thrift industry. There, she communicated agency policies and enforcement actions to media, trade groups, and industry, and provided strategic media counsel to senior agency officials.

Hired in PSI's New York office to service financial services clients from 2006 to 2007. During that time Erin worked with an investment bank and top lifestyle brand to advance communications priorities. Erin also became a dedicated consultant to the launch of the Center for Audit Quality, a client that moved her to Washington, D.C., during this period of time.

Before joining the Treasury Department, Erin was an account manager at Stevens Reed Curcio & Potholm, an award-winning media-consultancy that produced television and radio advertisements for political candidates. Gentry wrote and produced campaign TV and radio advertisements, winning a “Pollie” award in 2002 for her work.
