- Screened and interviewed applicants for multiple part-time positions through recruiting events and direct engagement - Constructed and executed a faculty/staff and student mentoring program for fifty (50) students aimed at increasing the retention and success rates of underrepresented students at Mississippi State University - Provided professional trainings and programs for 200+ students and 50+ professional faculty and staff members - Designed and facilitated small and large group trainings (virtual and in-person) on a wide variety of topics including leadership, diversity and inclusion, conflict management, and organization - Advocated for students and other stakeholders of varying identities through fostering a supportive environment - Directly supervised and evaluated two (2) graduate assistants - Developed and managed the budget for each organization and program under my supervision for each semester - Advised the I.D.E.A.L. Planned and coordinated the logistics of the 2020 Multicultural Leadership Summit, a one-and-a-half-day leadership and multicultural summit, geared towards creating conversations and community around DEI, leadership, identity, social change Recruited and trained over 25 small group facilitators to prepare them for the small group sessions and activities Developed a culturally relevant small group facilitator curriculum surrounding Emotionally Intelligent Leadership, the Social Change Model of Leadership, and the Cycle of Socialization Organized and facilitated a half day committee retreat for the student coordinator team surrounding leadership development, community engagement, and overall group thinking; Managed and allocate an event budget of around $16,300 Advised the student coordinator team regarding their roles, logistics, personal, professional, and leadership development
