Erin Ayala is a licensed psychologist and core faculty member in the counseling psychology doctoral program at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. She also provides clinical services and psychological assessments for athletes at Premier Sport Psychology and the University of Minnesota. She specializes in health and sport psychology for adolescents and young adults. Dr. Ayala has authored over a dozen peer reviewed research publications on prevention and health promotion, stress, self-care, and sport psychology. She is an Associate Editor for Psi Chi Journal of Psychological Research, and serves as an ad hoc reviewer for a number of other journals, including Prevention Science, Annals of Behavioral Medicine, Professional Psychology: Research and Practice, Teaching and Learning in Medicine, and Academic Psychiatry.
