* Implement and monitor current medical group Care Management policies and procedures. * Review medical documentation from providers to identify within the contents the contractually required information and critical health findings. * Communicate authorization/denial for medical services to Veteran’s based on Care Management policies. * Responsible for creating medical authorizations based on patient information as well as entering all information into the medical management system in order to coordinate medical appointments between the VA & the medical provider. * Conduct concurrent review of Veteran inpatients telephonically where assigned. * Documentation of pertinent patient information, all communications, and Care Management decisions. * Perform clinical review of medical records & responsible for entering data electronically to process payments, charges, denials & adjustments.

I work with medical practices to implement customized wellness programs & initiate comprehensive medical & wellness marketing strategies. The programs that I implement will increase patient satisfaction & improve compliance & retention while generating ancillary revenue for the practice.
