After working for the department less than two years as a patrol officer, I was offered a position with the property crimes investigation unit. I analyzed completed police reports to determine what additional information and investigative work was needed. I examined crime scenes to obtain clues and evidence for the investigation.

I worked as an armed security guard to ensure safe operations at local medical and recreational marijuana shops in Colorado. My duties included checking patrons to ensure compliance with the state laws, overseeing operations to verify the employees are following strict guidelines and overall security of the establishment.

Conducted criminal investigations for an estimated population of 23,828 personnel who lived, worked and transited Travis Air Force Base, CA. Investigations included assault, theft of government equipment, sexual assault, burglary, and domestic abuse. Worked closely with the local police department and the United States Air Force Office of Special Investigations on several investigations.

* Primary Duties and Responsibilities * Enforces City codes and ordinances pertaining to zoning and housing * Schedules and performs commercial site plan inspections and residential site plan inspections in conjunction with the Systematic Housing Inspection Program to maintain or achieve minimum housing standards * Attends neighborhood meetings to discuss and educate citizens about City codes * Responds to citizens' concerns and complaints and City Council requests * Prepares records and reports pertaining to abatements, court actions, daily activities, enforcement actions and inspections * Compiles documentation for and issues summons with approval of supervisor * Testifies in municipal court * Performs additional duties as assigned
