Erin Foster is the creator, writer and executive producer of the Netflix/20th TV comedy, Nobody Wants This, starring Kristen Bell and Adam Brody, which earned a quick Season 2 renewal after becoming a ratings and pop culture hit overnight, with Season 1 generating almost 50M views during its six-week stay in Netflix’s Weekly Top 10, including two at #1. It also earned Emmy nominations for Outstanding Comedy Series and Lead Actor/Actress for Bell and Brody. Released on Oct. 23, Season 2 shot to #1 on Netflix’s Daily Top 10 right away, with first official viewership data expected tomorrow. Erin started her writing career on Ryan Murphy’s NBC/20th TV comedy The New Normal. She created Nobody Wants This inspired by her own life, drawing in part on her and Sara’s experience hosting their weekly The World’s First Podcast. The duo previously created and wrote the mockumentary-style Barely Famous reality show sendup. Erin and Sara currently have an overall deal with 20th Television, under the Disney umbrella, to develop new projects.As the co-founders of the popular clothing and lifestyle brand Favorite Daughter, Erin and Sara have built an iconic label with a flagship store in Beverly Hills, and their designs are sold at retailers like Moda Operandi, Nordstrom, and Saks. A New York City location of Favorite Daughter will be open on November 15th. Off of their successes in the tech space with companies like Bumble and Mirror, Erin and Sara founded Oversubscribed Ventures, a venture fund that invests in consumer brands and technology. As of October 2025, they have invested in Nara Organics, Juliet, Exponent Beauty, Pizza Girl, Batch, 10Beauty, Doughy, 831 Stories, FuturHealth, and Noble Mobile. In 2021, the Foster duo launched a new podcast series titled “The World’s First Podcast” covering topics including therapy, wellness, relationships, and business. Its authenticity saw the two of them hosting their first live podcast taping in February 2024 to a sold out NYC crowd. The show won an iHeartRadio Podcast Award for Best Pop Culture Podcast and was a Webby Honoree for Best Co-Hosts.
