Maintained and improved front-end web applications and back-end java services within an Agile/Scrum environment. Participated in scrums/sprints and served as scrum master on 3-month rotations. ● Re‐engineered and built multiple iterations of a field deployable pulsed LIDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) system used for detecting honeybees. ● Streamlined 4D LIDAR data collection and analysis of honeybee spatial location by designing an developing a stand‐alone GUI to handle all tasks involved. ● Reduced LIDAR scan times from 15+ seconds to < 2 seconds per frame by saving data using MATLAB lossless encoding rather than raw data. ● Increased the data processing speed of each frame by over a factor of 200 by writing algorithms that took advantage of MATLABs optimized matrix math capabilities rather than using standard loop statements.
