One of the largest infrastructure projects in Western Australia, the Gateway WA project consist of road upgrade to major intersections surrounding Perth Airport and nearby industrial and freight precincts. The Gateway WA is set up as an alliance between GHD, AECOM BG&E, Leighton Contractors and Georgiou working in partnership with Main Roads Western Australia. As part of the GatewayWA Landscape and Urban Design Team I was Assistant Landscape Architect responsible for the delivery of presentation material and related imagery for regular project updates to the alliance, concept development, detailed documentation for construction and specifications for part of Tonkin Hwy as well as continuous liaison with Environmental manager for the delivery and execution of the design. Project is expected to be completed in 2016.
