- Lead the process engineering and metallurgy team at the Dunkirk facility with responsibility for process/product development and quality output of multiple forging machines with an annual impact of $300M+ in sales. - Direct line management of one full time engineer and two co-ops. Responsible generating projects, career development, and performance management. Managed 8 rotational co-ops of various engineering backgrounds. - Serve as the technical/quality lead for SMC Dunkirk’s toll conversion business. Techniques used optical microscopy, ultrasonic testing, mechanical testing, and SEM analysis including imagining, EDS, and EBSD. Create technical reports evaluating process changes to share with end use customers. - Responsible for site compliance to AS9100 and OEM quality flow down requirements. Manage site corrective actions. - Serve as an audit leader for internal and external audits. Host quality system and process audits with accrediting organizations and engine OEMs including GE, Pratt & Whitney, Safran, MTU, and Rolls Royce.

- Created a new forge process for I907 which reduced failure rates by 90% resulting in net sales of $1M+. - Developed and implemented new products on forge equipment which resulted in an additional $300K in sales for the business. - Worked with FEA modeling team to create DEFORM models for major processes for OEM qualification projects. - Developed new tooling and material handling processes which expanded product lines and improved product yield on large diameter Waspaloy by 5%.

- Developed an automated SPC review system which reduced analysis time by 90% and expanded system out to cover all product lines. - Improved cycle time on press finished large-diameter material which resulted in a 15% improvement in productivity. - Lead and participate in the creation of detailed FMEAs for production processes, production equipment, and safety standards to improve product safety and increase uptime on equipment.
