The Santa Barbara Symphony was founded in 1953 on the belief that a special city deserves a special orchestra. For over 60 years, the Santa Barbara Symphony has been lauded for its unique ability to deliver brilliant concerts, engage the community at large, and deliver powerful music education programs. The Symphony is integral to the cultural fabric of greater Santa Barbara – today, more than 35,000 people attend Symphony concerts and programs each year.

Long Beach Symphony has grown with its community since 1934. From its beginnings as a recreational community orchestra and its incorporation in 1945, Long Beach Symphony has steadily improved its artistic stature, managerial professionalism, volunteer involvement, educational programs, and community engagement initiatives. Now in its 81st season, Long Beach Symphony is one of Southern California's most professional and celebrated performing arts institutions.

The LA Phil presents an inspiring array of music from all genres at two of L.A.'s iconic venues- Walt Disney Concert Hall and the Hollywood Bowl- to audiences of all ages and economic backgrounds.
