I have taken my willingness to learn and hard working attitude into multiple different positions, from coaching to serving to safety enforcement. I was once told by a coach to "not bother about trying out the following year" because I "would not make the team." I went on to use that as my motivation to prove him wrong. After spending the entire year working hard and improving, I not only showed up to tryouts but I also made the team. I have also tackled some personal issues as well throughout my various jobs. I have a speech impediment that will often cause me to lock up during a conversation and not be able to say the next word or sentence. Through my work experiences, I have found that the frequency of this occurrence has decreased and my ability to switch words out on the fly but still get the same meaning across has improved greatly.
