Manage the launch of new programs including budget, timeline, and key deliverables. Create and present project status updates to our customers and upper management. Develop long term strategies for new program launches including the re-utilization of existing capital equipment to be more competitive when quoting. Determine project scope and required manufacturing processes in order to quote new programs. Obtained supplier quotes for new equipment. Work closely with suppliers to implement lessons learned in new equipment. Work with multiple departments to meet APQP deliverables. Lead small teams during production ramp up of new equipment. Mentor interns including regular performance evaluations. Train Team Leads and Operators to operate new equipment as per process flow. Create PFMEA and review with cross-functional teams. Create and report-out work cell performance statistics including Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE). Monitor and lead the closing of open issues for new launches.

Created capacity monitoring database for all plant manufacturing processes comparing current releases, forecasted volumes, and current production ability (extrusion lines, injection molding, punch-presses, and assembly work cells; more than 100 unique cells). Conducted capacity studies and Continuous Improvement (CI) activities to maximize output of capital equipment. Conducted time studies to determine production constraints and opportunities for improvement. Monitor Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) and root cause any large variances from plan.

Worked in the development and launch of new programs. Initiated approved engineering changes, including the creation and implementation of rework procedures. Coordinated launch activities between multiple departments such as, engineering, manufacturing, production, and quality. Used engineering principles and root cause analysis to support quality department in resolving customer identified manufacturing or quality issues. Scheduled and led burst builds including the training and supervision of a small team. Coordinated with suppliers regarding part orders and quality concerns. Coordinated with vender and Manufacturing Department to troubleshoot work cell faults.
