My research involved developing hydrostatic transmission systems and mechanisms for robot manipulators and end-effectors capable of very low impedance interactions. My Master's degree is in mechanical engineering with a focus on fracture mechanics and composites. My thesis was on the 3D simulation of composite delamination under fatigue loading using a user defined element in ABAQUS. My Bachelor's degree was in general engineering with a specialization in mechanical. My senior design project was to design and build a carbon fiber bicycle with a unique set of design objectives.
