Notable Projects: Supervised twelve-person crew in implementing improvements to HVAC systems resulting in over $200,000 annual saving in under one month at United States Military Base. Project Manager for over $1mm of upgrades to utilities systems at private Ivy League research university. Provided training presentations for classes of 20 or more shift workers on use of new equipment, system maintenance, and improved processes at dozens of industrial facilities in North and South America. Identified underperforming equipment at one of the largest soybean processing facilities in North America through interviews with operators and performance testing. Implemented procedural changes and installed new equipment to increase material throughput by 8%.

Maintained optimal performance of 600 MW coal-fired unit through a series of on-going performance tests and implementation of system upgrades. Reduced NOx emissions by 80% as part of Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) start-up team. Responsibilities included writing Inspection, Testing, and Preventive Maintenance procedures, supervising operators during the start-up of the equipment, and training operations and maintenance in safe work practices. Assisted in development of Process Safety Management (PSM) procedures prior to equipment commissioning. Tested and repaired automatic fire systems for entire facility and coal yard with outside contractors. Directed shift workers in maintenance of systems and implemented new protection methods according to insurance recommendations. Raised over $15,000 for local organizations through United Way Fund Raising Campaign.
