I acquired the 34 year old wedding and event floral business & studio called Hartworks Floral, February 1, 2021 after a year of the pandemic Covid 19. I am excited to take on the clientele and connections the previous owner has built as I continue on her legacy over the next 34 years.

As President of our local NACE chapter, I lead our chapter through monthly meetings, aquiring new members, managing our chapter budget, connecting with local vendors for chapter meetings & partner with an executive board to make things happen in San Diego! I love knowing who's who in the business & how we can all support each other!

As Vice President of our local nace chapter, I work with our chapter to schedule our annual programming, work hand in hand securing local venues, partner with local business to showcase our industry skills & most importantly am the Queen of Networking. I love knowing whos who in the business & how we can all support each other!

During a time of transition, I have been asked to step up as project manager. This role has been deemed “interim” until a new leader is put into place who will review our department and determine the functionality. In this role I will work as project manager for our 4 services each Sunday. With over 400 volunteers and more than 600 children each week, I will work with a team of 7 to accomplish a well run and polished children’s ministry. On top of the above responsibilities i will work with a global team on strategic initiatives, create and manage a large working budget, as well as run events such as; baby dedications, volunteer appreciations, trainings and outreach events.

As the administrative assistant i am responsible for overseeing the administrative function of the pastoral office, coordinating with the Associate Campus Pastor Administrative Team and acting as liaison between Youth and Kids ministries department and other Rock Departments in order to serve the Rock staff, pastors, church members and visitors. I report to our Associate Campus Pastor over Rock Youth and Rock Kids department. Some duties include: Project Management, strategic planning, event planning, travel coordinating. Coach and manage support staff. Creates and maintains department processes and procedures, SOP's, databases, train new staff on systems already in place. Assists in managing direct reports, running meetings in ACP's absence.

The Rockpile bookstore is a large gift and book store within the Rock Church. There is a wide arrangement of Bibles, Christian media and apparel, as well as a large selection of gifts featuring name brands such as SLANT COLLECTIONS, Capri Blu candles, Rifle Paper Co, Studio Oh, Moleskin, Christian Art Gifts, Corkcicle, and so much more. Interior design - I work alongside the manager in developing and executing our purchasing process, designing the visual displays, and space planning. Administrative skills - I assist in receiving, tracking, and helping with the volunteer pipeline. Social Media - I generate, edit, publish and share daily content (images, video) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action

Being tasked with assisting the lead designer in design updates for the current building, creating budgets, plans and designing of future campuses (one-two a year), assisting with design coordination of events including layouts, purchasing FF&E, hiring outside contractors and assisting with volunteer events with the largest being the continued updates of the SDPD break room projects (one-two a year). Assisting the lead designer in the office included, gathering vitals information, purchasing and tracking items, creating design libraries, managing sub contractors, etc.

As the head volleyball coach i lead a team of 13 girls with daily practices and weekly games. With a large graduating class of 6 seniors we were able to make a new school record taking us into CIF. Overall it was an amazing season connecting with high schoolers, growing personalities, and developing as athletes.

I was hired on in 2012 as a junior designer and assisted the lead designer in all projects. We met with clients, made purchases on the clients behalf, gathered and stored products for the client. I assisted with CAD drawings, presentation materials, invoicing and client communications. I soon transitioned into an office manager position as the company grew and was then in charge of accounts payable, receivable, purchasing, tracking, project management, and interns. Also working closely with the marketing aspect of our firm, including Pinterest, Twitter, Facebook, Interior Design Pro, Yelp, and more. I also joined the "boss-lady" at networking events like Network after Work, 6 Degrees mixers, Chic-Ceo mixers, ASID roundtable and various others.

Lived in London, England for 5 months. Took Residential Design, Commercial Design, Autocad II, Project Management and Accounting. Gained valuable life lessons from living in a foreign country using a different monetary system, gaining all new relationships, learning how to use public transportation and different teaching styles from professors who grew up in several different parts of the world.
