• Completed final semester of graduate student externship experience in this university hospital setting primarily working on the in-patient brain injury unit. • Floated to spinal cord injury, acute care and neonatal intensive care units. • Evaluation and treatment of patients with various cognitive, language and swallow disorders. • Competent in tracheostomy patient care including Passy Muir Valve evaluation/initiation and treatment. • Collaborated with and reported weekly to the rehab, nursing, dietary, social work, dental and medical team during individualized patient care meetings. • Completed in-service and case study presentation to co-workers on the topic of TBI. • Shadowed in the outpatient voice clinic - serving head and neck cancer patients and observing tracheoesophageal puncture prosthesis changes.
