I became certified in March 2006 while stationed at Travis AFB, CA as a Victim Advocate for the SAPR program (formerly called SARC). I was then assigned to Misawa AB, Japan from 2007-2010. My final duty assignment was at Grand Forks AFB, ND until my retirement 1 September 2013. As a VA, I was on standby during deployments and on call stateside, and received annual training through the program at Grand Forks AFB, of which Susan Grollimund was the latest SAPR director that I worked with. My training consisted of briefing the "survivor" of his/her rights and what steps can be taken, and to also be their support.

* Organize the training records of the active duty military personnel. * Ensure the required training was completed by the personnel. * Conduct testing practices for those in upgrade education training for their job assignment. * Update the training records weekly/monthly. * Input training information in their records showing their progress every time a task was completed. * Ensure records are accurate in preparations for inspections.

* Create menu planning of food to be served in accordance to the "Go For Green" nutrition program * Organize and plan advertisements for the new food items being presented * Organize with food vendors to showcase their products for the customers to suggest to have at the facility. * Ensure the 3% gain/loss of sales/cost ratio is achieved monthly. * Ensure training program of personnel is organized and achieved. * Ensure there is a safety and sanitation program for the staff members to follow * Ensure that relations with civilians and military personnel are cohesive * Ensure the accountant is knowledgable with the balancing of the books * Ensure the file system is updated and accurate * Create a Five (5) year budget plan to replace equipment and furniture when items need to be replaced * Have strong communication and writing skills

* Create fitness programs for those that wanted to improve their fitness and health qualities. * Create sports programs, and be knowledgable with the different tournament brackets for teams to participate in the Intramural Sports (football, soccer, softball, basketball) * Lead fitness training classes (I led circuit training classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the North Area Fitness Center. * Have great customer service skills. * Knowledgable of all equipment available for the customers to utilize at the facility. * I was in charge of the accounting position while the accountant was on vacation, which entailed me to balance the books and pay the personal trainers and massage therapists.
