~ Working with HSSE peers, developed site case management process to improve patient care and lower number OSHA recordable incidents ~ Maintain, develop and deliver health and safety training modules as required by regulation or site specific requirements such as new hires, turnaround or for high risk jobs. ~ Lead or serve as subject matter expert for RCA incident investigation teams. ~ Conduct health/safety site hazard assessments for existing or new job tasks. ~ Steward site hazard communication program including assessment of all new materials either produced or purchased. ~ Plan and conduct yearly exposure monitoring for employees including emergency response situations. ~ Conduct yerarly health and safety compliance audits and develop/communicate corrective actions. Programs have included Powered Industrial Trucks, Machine Guarding, Confined Space, Fire Brigade, Fall Protection, Respiratory Protection and Asbestos. ~ Maintain regulatory knowledge to identify gaps and advise management on proposed changes ~ Advise site contractors to identify and address health hazards created by their work. ~ Conduct hazard assessments and identify safeguards for high risk jobs and turnaround related work scopes. ~ Decreased work permit wait time during turnarounds by developing a turnaround permit process. ~ Lead field Safety organization during maintenance shutdowns ~ Maintain facility community air monitoring program ~ Serve as Safety Coordinator for facility’s Emergency Management Organization ~ Assess/recommend additions or removals from regulatory medical surveillance programs ~ Provide technical expertise as needed for employee work related health complaints

Provide clients consultative/project support in managing occupational health and safety matters – projects and assignments have included: ~ Conducting health/safety site hazard assessments ~ Assist in development, implementation, and management of office ergonomics program for 4500-person facility ~ Managed site specific development and implementation of corporate safety standards for U.S. and international sites. ~ Authored comprehensive site-specific health and safety plans and procedures for clients covering Superfund site remediation, ergonomics, driving safety, radiation, and confined space entry
