Oversee all aspects of High Speed video data collection for LEAP, GEnX, GE9X, and Passport engine programs utilizing Phantom High Speed cameras (v1610’s and v2511’s). Test setups include Icing, Ingestions (Hailstone, Large/Medium Bird, and Ice Slab), Fan Blade Outs, and all Component tests.

Direct all phases (conceiving, planning, coordinating, executing and documenting) of photographic and high speed digital video data collection. Support programs such as SLAM-ER, Tomahawk, Patriot, AARGM, and many other Warhead, Propulsion, and Insensitive Munitions testing. I provide camera support for field-testing of ordnance, including static warheads, rocket motors, and environmental tests, and non ordnance related devices using high speed photographic (Nikon D3X DSLR, Hulcher 70mm, RED) and high speed digital video cameras (Photron and Phantom HSDV cameras). Along with these setups I supply, when desired, specialty cameras such as Elmo micro cameras and FLIR Infrared video cameras. I design the set up of the cameras, decide the proper exposure for each particular test item, develop and implement any triggers and special setups that are necessary for each test, record and analyze, and present the data to the customer using Photoshop CS4, Final Cut Pro 7, and DVD Studio Pro 4.
