I recently took a new job at JVCKenwood so that I could be more involved in the industry that I love. While at Engage, I did plenty of contract work for JVC, but I wanted to take it to the next level. When the opportunity came up, I thought hard about it, then decided to just go for it. Most of you know that I used to work for Hughes/JVC Technology (HJT) back in the 1990's designing the cutting edge video projectors of the day. Being a mechanical engineer tasked with bringing the military LCLV (D-ILA) out to the commercial market was an awesome experience that I missed when it was over. I've worked on quite a few optical projects since then, but video projector technology is still my love.
