Eric Holter

After a year of trying to pay for college myself, I joined the MN National Guard as a Cavalry Scout for 6 years. Training in combat, weaponry, strategic teamwork, vehicles, & reconnaissance, we put our skills to the test in multiple State Active Duty Deployments. Which includes security for Biden’s inauguration & riot control in Minneapolis for the George Floyd riots. I did this primarily to serve my country & obtain tuition reimbursement for transferring to UW - Eau Claire, furthering my studies in psychology & eventually entrepreneurship. Becoming a track & field athlete with a full class schedule while serving in the military left me hardly any free time, but it was a very rewarding & memorable season in my life, until of course the pandemic hit. Luckily I had met some incredible musicians to practice with during the pandemic, & we were one of the first bands to come out & play live in-person shows that made things feel like normal again. We started in several backyards, bars, & events hosted by UWEC, with crowds ranging from several hundreds to thousands. We then traveled to Milwaukee, Madison, Minneapolis, & Michigan! We never really gave ourselves credit for how good we were until we were recognized by the newspaper & radio! I’ve dipped my toe in lots of businesses, learning so much along the way about owning & operating a business, networking, social media marketing, & sales. From nutrition, roofing & exterior contracting, forex, drumming, the military, the insurance & financial industries, remote closing, & now custom packaging with Driven Solutions, I’ve learned a vast array of skills, leadership, & so much about myself that whatever I’m doing I have no doubt I will be successful in doing it. All I really care about is growing into the man I need to become to humbly serve Jesus Christ, be a good example for my future kids & those who cross paths with me. I want to leave a legacy for myself & everyone around me to be proud of. I’m working towards the level of financial freedom that will allow me to have meaningful time with my loved ones, to pursue other passions, & amass a large portfolio of philanthropy, as it is also my mission to leave this world better than I found it. I’m passionate about what I do through Driven Solutions, because it allows me, those I work with, & those I work for the opportunity to accomplish everything in the previous paragraph.
