Overcame a management turnover, ushering in new President (from outside of the industry) and mentored a new sales management and team. Developed strategy and influenced CEO to begin manufacturing in Brazil to satisfy local content issues. Qualified a high temperature control fluid with Petrobras' subsea and chemical specialists to meet specific deepwater operational requirements. Designed tailored CRM to target and win opportunities. Lobbied EPA to support point of manufacture sampling/testing versus on-site sampling for discharge permits (US EPA GMG 290000). Contributed to ISO 13628-6 Annex C / API 17F Annex C revision of 2006E and API 16D.

Expanded responsibilities to include managing operations (Purchasing, Manufacturing, EH&S, Quality, Shipping & Receiving, Lab Management) at chemical plant. Set goals and attained significant improvements in Working Capital Metrics (DSO, DII), Total Recordable Incident Rates, attained RCRA exempt status from Large Quantity Generator, implemented Department of Homeland Security HazMat rules, maintained ISO 9001:2000 Certification and obtained for ISO 14001:2004 Certification. Upgraded laboratory and staff competency to perform R&D functions from strictly Q.C. and service testing. Contributed to U.S. EPA Gulf of Mexico (GOA currently) NPDES (National Pollution Discharge and Elimination System) in collaboration with OOC (Offshore Operator's Committee) and instituted a Certificate of Compliance system that remains in use.

Initially liaison with UK Technology Centre to support customers in US and Brazil for five product lines. Provided technical sales from offices, field and laboratory as well as offshore drilling vessels and production platforms. Provided financial analysis of products against manufacturing, labor and raw material costs. Improved profits and organizational focus by pruning product offering and focusing on strategic business opportunities. Identified and solved manufacturing problems eliminating sources of hazardous waste and hidden costs and unnecessary risk to staff.

Performed pipeline inspections on entirety of Midcon Texas and NGPL pipeline system from Holly Beach, LA to Joliet, IL. Assisted in creation, implementation, sales and training for customer fugitive emissions software system for voluntary natural gas emissions program.

Learned and operated equipment in thermoplastic umbilical manufacturing, longest umbilical was for Esso Australia resulting in 48 hour continuous extrusion time with no interruption. Managed hydraulic fluid, waste disposal, forklift operator, material handling, inventory, cabling, aramid fiber braiding, nylon extrusion, armor cabling and facility cleanliness.
