• Collaborate with personal injury firm to resolve probate matters for wrongful death cases. • Manage all aspects of the probate process, including opening of estates, inventory, claims resolution, tax matters, and distribution of estate assets. • Work closely with personal representatives and surviving family matters to ensure timely completion of all probate requirements.

• Direct varied caseload of workers’ compensation, disability, veterans’ benefits, estate, and probate cases. • Represent clients before administrative tribunals and federal and state district and appellate courts. • Litigate workers’ compensation claims before the Iowa Workers’ Compensation Commissioner, including motions practice, discovery and depositions, evidentiary development, contested case hearings, and appeals. • Research and draft pleadings, motions, and post-hearing and appellate briefs. • Manage administrative, financial, and personnel aspects of law practice with two other partners.
