Key Responsibilities 1. Operations Management * Supervise daily Chromite plant operations including production planning, shift scheduling, and manpower allocation * Monitor process performance, quality results, and equipment parameters to ensure stable and efficient operations * Manage inventory of raw materials, consumables, and spare parts to support continuous production * Review and verify chromite concentrate documentation, including assays and certificates prior to shipment 2. Safety, Environment & Quality (SHEQ) * Implement and enforce safety, environmental, and quality management systems in compliance with ISO 14001 EMS * Ensure adherence to company safety standards, 5S, TPM, and environmental obligations * Lead incident reporting, investigation, and corrective/preventive actions for deviations and emergencies * Promote safe work practices and ensure regulatory and internal compliance across all activities 3. Process Optimization & Technical Support * Analyze production data, quality trends, and equipment performance to improve efficiency and product quality * Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for operational issues and process upsets * Develop, review, and update SOPs, training manuals, and operational standards * Recommend process and facility improvements based on operational data 4. Leadership & People Management * Supervise engineers, supervisors, and operators to ensure effective execution of plant activities * Conduct performance evaluation, coaching, and cross-training programs to develop workforce capability * Promote teamwork, discipline, and continuous improvement culture within the section 5. Planning & Coordination * Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, and other departments for repairs and operational support * Contribute to budgeting, cost control, and resource optimization initiatives * Support management in operational planning and decision-making
