Education

Mechanical Engineering
The thesis, carried out at the Machine Construction Laboratory of the University of Padua, consisted in the design and development of an innovative anti-terrorism barrier, an activity carried out in collaboration with an important company in the sector. The work was initially articulated by analyzing and proposing various alternative solutions to what already exists on the market. What turned out to be the most noteworthy was then developed in detail. There was also an in-depth study phase regarding a type of bollard currently in production: non-linear finite element structural analyzes (FEM) were carried out to evaluate the maximum loads to which this type of device is subjected in the certification phase.
