MODULE TX -TX chain matching network tuning (simulation and experiment based) targeting the best compromise between ACLR and current consumption. -Selection of better matching strategy with load-pull measurement evaluation together with small signal simulations to better assess TX impedance matching and PA performance at a certain reference plane. MODULE EM -Simulation of complete LTE and 5G RF Modules (containing PAs, LNAs, Multiplexers and ASM) using HFSS and ADS / AWR for wireless applications for major players in the smartphone industry. -Analysis (based on simulations and experiments) and improvement of undesired couplings (isolation and TX leakages) that lead to desense problems in the system.-Floorplan design minimizing known undesired coupling (sneak) paths and guaranteeing best RF performance. FILTER INTEGRATION -Integration of BAW filters with multiplexer networks based on SMDs and laminate integrated inductors targeting low inband impedance variation (in TX) and low losses (TX and RX). -BAW filter design using AWR and in-house developed PDKs. -Fab support in the manufacture of BAW dies on wafer for multiplexers which enable carrier aggregation.
