• To lead the competent Maintenance Team and manage all maintenance activities including outages of the Plant for maintaining and developing physical assets for the benefit of the Company. • Supervise the Operations, Maintenance and Commissioning Activities of the Electrical Sections including Higher MW Capacity Inverters Power Generators, PV Modules Strings, Combiner Boxes, SCADA Automation System, 100MVA Power and Auto Transformers, EHV/ HV/MV Switch Gears and Switch Yards Components and CB/DS/ES Control Cubicles, CTs/PTs Junction boxes and its Primary/secondary termination, Control cubicles, ACDBs, DCDBs, Battery Chargers, SCADA System, DCS and PLC Controlled Equipment • Member of the Station Executive Team and contribute in the strategic maintenance activities of the Power Plant. • Ensure planning & implementation of predictive / preventive maintenance of the power plant. • Ensure efficient and cost effective operation of power plant. • Ensure execution of O&M activities as per OEM recommendations, Company's policy and local procedures / instructions. • Accountable for plant operation, maintenance cost containment, planning, safety, and Health, Environment and Quality assurance. • Responsible and accountable for effective and timely fulfilment of contractual and commercial obligations with WAPDA • Ensure correct and efficient use of Company funds for procurement activities. • Identify, plan and implement projects to improve and maintain the power plant to meet customer and functional needs. • Recommend, monitor and control the use of resources. • Develop the team, individual and self to enhance performance. • Create, maintain and enhance effective working relationship between all departments. • Seek, organize and exchange information for decision making and problem solving. • Plan, execute the scheduled outages for their timely completion. • Develop good working relationship with OEM, and neighbouring IPP's

• Maintenance, Troubleshooting and Commissioning of Power Transformers their protection system including Differential Protection,Over Load Protection, Over/Under Voltage and Frequency Protection, Loss of Excitation, Over Excitation/Flux Protection, Reverse Power Protection, Voltage Balance Protection and Asymmetric Load Protection, Stator and Rotor Earth Fault Protection, Winding Short Circuit and Inter Turn Protection • Maintenance, Troubleshooting and Commissioning of 380KV GIS (Gas Insulated Switch Gear), 110KV GIS (Gas Insulated Switch Gear) and 13.8KV Switch Gear • Maintenance, Troubleshooting and Commissioning of the 125/48 Volts Battery Chargers, ACDB and DCDB. • Maintenance, Troubleshooting and Commissioning of MV Induction Motors and to configure and test its protection Relays including Motor Differential Protection, Motor Earth Fault Differential Protection, Starting Over Current Protection and Thermal Protection • Configuration and Testing of all Protection Relays of EHV and HV Power Transformers and Generators protected by Differential Relays, Restricted Earth Fault Relays, Over-Flux Relays, Overcurrent and Earth Fault Relays, Standby Earth Fault Relays, Multifunction Relays, Automatic Voltage Regulator Relays. • Configuration and Testing of EHV, HV and MV BusBar Protection Relays Including Low Impedance BBP Relays, High Impedance BBP Relays, Stuck Breaker Protection Relays, CBF Relays, Over Current and Earth Fault Protection Relays. • Perform and Witnessing the Primary Injection, Stability and Sensitivity Test of EHV, HV and MV Bus Bars, Power Transformers, Capacitor Banks • Testing the Operation and Interlocks of CBs, DS and ES including the Synchronizing Check Relays function in EHV, HV and MV SWGR

• Contributed in Maintenance and troubleshooting of Mark IV GE designed 100 MW Gas Turbine and Steam Turbine, HRSG (Heat Recovery Steam Generators) and their all Auxiliaries in a Combine/Opens Cycle Operation of the Plant. • Contributed in Maintenance and Troubleshooting of 120 MVA Air-Cooled Synchronous Generators and their Excitation Controlled systems. • Contributed Preparation of Electrical maintenance / overhauling plans, identify resources and implement the plans for enhancing plant availability, reliability and efficiency. • Checked availability of minimum stock level of critical and strategic spares. • Got awareness and implementation of KAPCO safety rules in maintenance activities on part of our sectional team. • Participate in identifying relevant faults and recommend remedial actions. • Obtained specialist knowledge and expertise from my team for electrical maintenance and trouble shooting. • Got commercial awareness of the plant to my team. • Got training from staff to attain their full potential to maximize contribution of our team in achieving the departmental and company's objectives and targets. • Maintain good coordination with all sections of the organization. • Perform any other relevant task assigned by our seniors. • Assist Senior Manager Maintenance to achieve Company’s objectives & targets.
