- Supervise mine geology activities from grade control drilling to delivering quality ore to the rompad to make STP. - Drill hole planning and supervising drilling contractor and junior geologists to deliver quality samples by ensuring (QA/QC) is done to SOP/drilling in sequence to STP. - Pit mapping to understand and monitor changes in structures and mineralogical controls.Geological modeling. - Database management. - Ore polygon generation and Polygon model generating for mine planning. - Supervising ore demarcation to deliver quality ore to the rompad by reducing dilution. - Rompad management to achieve daily to monthly crusher feed. - Weekly report to management. - Stockpile balancing. Mine to mill reconciliation. - Daily Pit-rompad reconciliation. - Daily mine geology reports. - Liaison with mine planning and drill and blast engineers to deliver short term plans.

• Geological logging of RC chips and exploration cores. • Collection of samples for bulk density determination of the various pits. • Supervise Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling activities. • Ensuring all grade control programed from planning, setting out, drilling, sampling, splitting, logging, dispatch and assaying, are executed within stipulated production time. • Validate drilling data; including assay results, downhole survey, geology logging and QAQC and other data collected during drilling. • Attends daily, weekly and monthly production meetings. • Predictive maintenance of rigs through data analysis (pre-start checks) to reduce downtimes. • Experiences in time and motion studies to improve cycle times. • Ensure proper Health and safety measures are implemented and drilling crew are properly trained periodically and updated. Supervising Ore- spotting, Ore mining, Stockpile management, rompad management. • Ensures all digging plans, such as Ore markout plans plots, evaluation of individual bench grades are checked, printed and csv sent to surveyors for production purposes. • Ensure all tally clerks have digging plans in their midst so that they can be aware of blocks been mine and subsequent grade segregation to avoid misclassification and dilution. • Ensures correct feeding blend of materials are adhered to and correct segregation of fingers at the main rompad by the coordinator. • Relating with drill and blast team with regards to their blasting forecast for the month and strictly ensure all parameters used are approved and the direction of throw of blast also indicated. • Ensures effective supervision of post blast activity monitoring, ensures correct indication of planted balls, are picked up and saved with the correct ids, ensures surveyors picked exact location of detected balls in post blast translation pickups.
