As a Safety & Loss Prevention Engineer A at the Generation Sector – Southern Region , I am responsible for overseeing and ensuring the effective implementation of the Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS) across all generation plants in the Southern Region. My role involves monitoring the safety performance of power generation plants , verifying compliance with safety regulations and preventive controls, and ensuring alignment with SEC strategic safety objectives. I actively lead and participate in incident investigations, identify root causes, and develop corrective and preventive action plans to prevent recurrence. In addition, I track and analyze safety performance indicators (KPIs), support continuous improvement initiatives, and prepare detailed safety performance and compliance reports for submission to the Safety & Loss Prevention Leader of the Southern Region.

As an HSE Consultant Engineer working with Saudi Electricity Company - PDC , I play a key role in promoting a safe and compliant work environment by: •Advising on the implementation of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) policies and procedures. •Representing employees in raising OSH-related concerns and communicating them to management. •Leading weekly OSH committee meetings and overseeing the development and tracking of monthly safety goals and KPIs. •Conducting regular site inspections (daily, weekly, monthly) to identify risks, analyze incidents, and detect potential hazards. •Supporting investigations of workplace incidents and contributing to the resolution of safety issues. •Enhancing awareness and communication regarding OSH regulations and best practices across teams. •Performing quarterly OSH and environmental audits in compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
