• Provide leadership and strategic direction to all aspects of IR Jordan livelihoods-based interventions with a focus on vulnerable groups. • Take overall lead on economic empowerment programmes and managing the implementation of the existing projects and lead the development of the livelihoods programme including cash-based interventions. • Develop a livelihoods’ strategy for IRJ office programming considering previous best practices, principles targeting for the right holders and carrying-out relevant assessments and ensuring funding opportunities pursued. • Provide technical advice to IRJ and the livelihoods team, with a strong focus on coaching, mentoring and capacity building to develop technical and operational expertise of the IRJ programme teams. • Coordinate and/or lead relevant economic & markets assessment (including projects’ baseline assessments) and adopting established acknowledged minimum standards & best practices. • Work closely with the Head of Programmes and other programme team members, support fundraising, including development of high-quality concept notes and proposals, and institutional donor engagement. • Support in formulating the country office programmes and strategy that is grounded on Jordan Response Plan and national priorities and in line with Jordan development strategic plans.

• Work closely with the main stakeholders, and the Ministry of Agriculture (MOA) to implement activities with the beneficiaries; • Deliver and/or supervise the training of farmers and their employees in collaboration with Government extension officers; • Conduct participatory pre -assessments for crop planning; • Prepare detailed work plans including training schedules and manuals; • Plan, organize and manage the distribution of inputs to the farmers as required; • As required carry out or supervise relevant practical field activities such as soil testing, irrigation system installation and improved farming practices; • Ensure project activities are progressing on time, meeting targets, quality expectations and as per budget; • Facilitate positive relationships between the farmers and their employees, especially Syrian refugees; • Ensure that employees are fully aware of their rights are these are upheld by their employers; • Work closely with the other members of the livelihoods team to achieve the objectives; • Produce and submit timely progress reports;

Conducting surveys and studies; reports writing; build the capacity of local communities; engage the local community in the project activities; conduct workshops, info-days, seminars, etc; build the trust with locals, civil societies, community based organizations, etc; train locals from the targeted communities.

Office Mnaagment: Field and office works; managing field missions, monitoring the surveys, sampling and collections; review the literatures, data analysis, reporting. Training Coordinator: Training needs analysis; managing training courses; interviewing and selecting trainees; field visits; day to day follow and reporting; training feedback analysis.
