Network Engineer in Irish Broadband with over 2 years experience in a busy NOC. I run the Breeze Access VL network which has a current customer base of 12000. I work with the follow equipment on a daily basis - Alvarion, Navini, Juniper (M & J series), Cisco, Extreme, Huawei, Entersys, Stratex and Ceragon. I have certification in a lot of the above technologies. I am responsible for evaluating and monitoring overall network performance and capacities. I am the project manager for several projects including network optimisation and network security. I am also involved in the building out of new sites - switch/router configuration.

* Responsible for global technical support of Microsoft staff and vendors. * Support ranged from Mobile devices, Microsoft office to networking and VPN related issues. * Trained by Microsoft in Colorado, USA for 3 months. * Alpha and Beta tester of Microsoft products (e.g Office 2003, Windows XP SP2, early versions of vista(longhorn)) * Subject matter expert in Networking * Technical writer for Microsofts internal knowledge base. This entailed writing detailed troubleshooting guides for incoming issues.

* IP Engineer working on a carrier class next generation network. As part of the Engineering team I am responsible for the ongoing development and high level support of the network. I also work on the design and implementation of nationwide broadband access systems, vendor selection and solution acceptance testing processes. * Currently working on: * LTE Core and Radio architecture design * Huawei LTE network rollout * VoIP development & strategy * Legacy access layer development * LTE UE testing and development
