I’m a healthcare privacy and compliance leader with 20 years of experience in healthcare, spent primarily focused on Health Information Management and Release of Information. Throughout my career, I’ve focused on protecting patient data and ensuring secure, accurate information handling. This naturally led me to my current focus on privacy program development and compliance oversight. My role is focused on privacy compliance and governance, and risk mitigation strategies that strengthen patient trust and organizational integrity. I enjoy partnering with Legal, IT Security, and operations teams to turn regulatory requirements into practical workflows and measurable improvements. As a lifelong learner, I’ve earned multiple industry credentials to deepen my expertise and collaborate effectively across disciplines. My work centers on privacy program implementation, PHI protection, policy development, auditing and monitoring, incident response, and governance. I’m passionate about building strong, sustainable privacy programs and love collaborating with others who share a dedication to excellence and innovation in healthcare compliance. I’m intentional about growing as a leader, spending much of my off-hours studying leadership and empathy to challenge my own assumptions so I can better serve the people and systems I’m responsible for.
