Here I worked as part of the waitressing lunch team during the day and also as a dinner server which furthered my team working skills and helped me gain formal restaurant experience as we set the restaurant before dinner and also handled all the phone reservations.

I worked as a full time waitress here at the pub during the summer before I left for my placement in America. Due to the fact it was a very busy pub I learnt to thrive in a sometimes hectic environment and how to adapt to long working hours. I also gained a lot of experience working on the 'pass' in the kitchen and dealing with customer complaints.

Worked predominantly in the tearoom at the castle as a waitress to help improve my communication skills with the public, selling techniques, team working, organisational skills. I also helped run annual functions such as the Halloween event and also gained experience as part of the silver service team for private formal events.

I chose to work in America for my university placement and loved the experience. During my time on the front desk I developed my phone skills, organising group reservations and handling complains. I also learned a great deal from spending the majority of my shifts working alone at 200 Main which was the company's sister property (a motel) where I had a lot of responsibility. I also worked on the banquet team for a number of events e.g. weddings.

Activities and Societies: Hockey Team, Netball Team, Swim Team, School Newspaper and Charitable Events Team.
