I’m a fourth-year Environment and Resource Management student at the University of Guelph with academic and project-based experience in GIS and land use planning. Through courses such as Geography 2480: Geographic Information Systems and Geography 3480: Advanced GIS, I developed strong skills in ArcGIS Pro, applying spatial analysis, cartography, and geoprocessing tools to real-world projects. My projects have included building suitability models for trail planning, analyzing connectivity in cycling infrastructure, and using spatial data to inform environmental decision-making. I enjoy working at the intersection of technology and sustainability, using GIS to solve complex land use and resource management challenges. I’m eager to bring my technical skills, environmental knowledge, and planning perspective into roles that focus on sustainable development, conservation, or municipal/urban planning.
