In collaboration with a colleague we created a codebook for wave 6 of an ongoing longitudinal study. This involved reporting and writing SPSS syntax for the creation of composite mean scores, factor analysis, reliability statistics, and data descriptives. This post also involves completing an inventory of all measurement scales used in 4 large longitudinal studies.

This post involves conducting literature searches, as well as helping with writing a research proposal.

This post involved attending EAC meetings, dealing with student problems, enabling the students to evaluate the study programs, writing minutes, arranging social events, and helping arranging the career event (e.g. recruiting speakers).

During the university holidays I entered patient medical history into an electronic database. This involved categorizing/coding the various medical histories of patients, and following a strict protocol.

This post involved designing and implementing a qualitative study looking at the attitudes and opinions of Welsh teenage boys concerning their future. Focus groups were used, and preliminary discourse analysis was carried out.

Using discourse analysis I analysed data, collected via focus groups, on teacher identity. My research was influenced by the Dialogical Self Theory.
