* Provided after-school in-home care for a 6-year old boy with multiple disabilities (including ASD and epilepsy) and his baby sister. * Included personal care for both children and communication using Makaton sign language.

* Sales assistant specialising in the toy department. * Worked approximately 13 hours a week during term time. This required excellent organisational and time management skills. * Developed communication and team work skills through working with various different staff members.

* Worked as a play worker for a charity which aims to provide a safe and fun play environment for children with disabilities. * Worked 1:1 with children and supervised all children in different areas of the play scheme. * Dealt with a large range of physical and behavioural disabilities ranging from mild to extremely severe. * Undertaken child protection, first aid, Makaton sign language and manual handling courses.

* Worked as a temporary general assistant during the university holidays and after my degree. * Tasks included data entry, general admin tasks, proof reading, and contacting examination officers, examiners and moderators to resolve issues. * All tasks involved working with highly confidential material and using bespoke computer software.
