Dealing with and addressing common administrative concerns relating to the students of the Institute as well as conducting basic administrative tasks in the day-to-day running of the institute.

I also regularly appear on other national and international broadcast channels, commenting on similar topics including Middle East analysis, UK and EU counter-extremism measures and explaining the radicalization processes.

* Leading, supervising and authoring research and analysis on issues and conflicts in the Middle East and North Africa. * Providing media commentary for international print and broadcast media including BBC News, ITV and Channel 4 News, Sky News, Al-Jazeera and CNN. * Briefing UK, EU and US government officials with a focus on countering extremism strategies.

* Launched and managed North Africa one-year outreach programme across 6 operational countries (Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco and Tunisia). * Established a workable and diverse network of policy drivers, NGO and civil society activists, counter-extremism practitioners and experts, officials and diplomats, community leaders. * Organised and coordinated a series of international events. * Managed a complex budget and maintained communications with project funders. * Oversaw project activities and outputs and designed and implemented strategy. * Designed and maintained a bilingual (Arabic/English) website and created content for social media pages and website blog. * Managed a team of interns and volunteers abroad and in London office. * Provided expert commentary and comment pieces to media and corporations with regards to political developments in MENA. * Produced internal strategy reports and research on MENA and conducted press-releases where and when necessary.

Research and Administrative Internship- Scholarship Program 2008. Within my administrative role I was expected to assist in a variety of administrative tasks with the center, including data presentation and translations of unofficial documents from Arabic into English. As for my research role, I was responsible for carrying out necessary research into required fields and providing detailed summaries of my key findings to my superior colleagues.

* Conducting and leading seminars on: * Islamist Movements in the Middle East and North Africa * AND * Politics and Economy of the Contemporary Middle East and North Africa * Both modules are convened by Dr Omar Ashour and my role also involves assessing and monitoring students' assignments and presentations.
