My job includes creating Individualized Education Plans (IEP's) for my case load of students. A case load usually holds 10-17 students. I must provide differentiated instruction, screen and assess students educational abilities, draft and create Evaluation Reports when warranted, provide instruction in the Wilson Reading System for selected students, collect progress monitoring data to track student progress, utilize / create behavior plans, parent / teaching communication, among other daily Teacher responsibilities. I have been formally trained in the Wilson Reading System (WRS), hold a Level I and II Certificate, and also teach additional ELA (English Language Arts/ Reading) and Mathematics courses as needed. I currently support special education students within ELA and Math inclusion classroom settings, along with various small group pull-out Tier III reading intervention classes, instruction in the WRS daily.

The Wilson Reading System (WRS) is a multi-modal instructional reading program geared to teach students the English Language based on the specific phonemic sounds, symbols, segmentation, rules and six syllable types with exceptions. I am a Wilson Certified teacher in both Level I and Level II.

Job included interviewing employees, payrole, handling exchanges / returns, customer service, audit reports, company markdowns of merchandise, semi annual inventory, filing legal documents and prosecuting shoplifters, traveling to open new stores in the surrounding areas, and checking incoming shipment.
