Responsible for select parts of the Buyer’s overall business assortment while continuing to help determine overall assortment. Select merchandise using history of product sales along with trend information. Continue to be responsible for select merchandise thru the life cycle of the shoe. Works with budget and the Open-To-Buy to insure covering all of the fashion looks while protecting the sales of key items

Work with the buyer to determine the proper assortment and help determine the quantities needed. Complete the initial distribution to the stores along with planning the re-purchasing of existing shoes. Work with the merchandising team to ensure the direction is communicated and also help to determine shoes to consolidate.

Monitor and analyze sales data, to make informed decisions and react to information gathered. Reactions include transferring of product, increase/decrease allocation, and inform buyers of region’s needs. Other duties include communicating effectively with the field, managing region’s open to buy, monitor advertising, along with taking care of daily tasks.

Facilitate clear communication between the Buyer and the Geo-Buying team. Has a strong rapport with the vendors, stores and the buying team. Prepares and analyzes sales data in order to help make informed decisions. Initiates the order writing process and follows through to ensure timely deliveries. Maintains the assortment planning system, inputs the Mic & Cart, takes digital photos and is responsible for the co-ordination of samples.
