* Key responsibilities include: * Developing key internal and external messaging, branding and communications alongside executive level employees in order to raise public awareness, drive grassroots activism, and garner attention from national and local media. * Organizing and facilitating media engagements including interviews, opinion editorials and press release dissemination, as well as press conferences and speaker panels. * Researching and developing pre-budget submissions with clients to further their advocacy efforts and key policy objectives .

* Managed all external affairs of the StFX Students’ Union, including federal, provincial and municipal government, external organizations and advocacy groups - Researched and wrote policy documents pertinent to post-secondary students in coordination with external advocacy groups - Served as a board member for the Frank McKenna Centre for Leadership (StFX University) * Students’ Nova Scotia * Canadian Alliance of Student Associations (CASA) * CASA National Advocacy Team

* Built and maintained the office website. * Researched and prepared documents on topics pertinent to the constituency and the House. * Prepared binders for Committee. * Participated in training sessions on Parliamentary Procedure and Legislative Processes; hosted by the Liberal Research Bureau Parliamentary Affairs Team.

I spent a semester at Sciences Po Lille on an international exchange

During the last four years I have been a student in Political Science and Development Studies. I am currently completely my Honours Thesis in Political Science and will be graduating in May 2015. I will be returning to St. FX as a part-time student in September 2016 and will be serving as Vice President External of the Students' Union.
